For over sixty years, Mother Nature has transformed the rolling hills of North San Diego County into one of the most spectacular and coordinated displays of natural color and beauty anywhere in the world. The nearly fifty acres of Giant Tecolote Ranunculus flowers that make up The Flower Fields at Carlsbad Ranch® in Carlsbad, California, are in bloom for approximately six to eight weeks each year – from early March through early May – literally bringing the famous fields back to life. This annual burst of color, which has become part of the area’s local heritage, also is one of nature’s official ways of announcing the arrival of spring here in Southern California. PagodaFest will be in the fall in the wonderful gardens surrounding the Flower Fields. A beautiful and manicured park-like setting. A natural environment for the Pagodas!
The Flower Fields will serve as a an excellent venue for Friday of PagodaFest. The manicured gardens with meandering paths will be perfect for our Paogda Showcase. There are also multiple out-buildings for the tech sessions as well as a beautiful barn that will host our dinner.
Encinitas Ranch is one of the few golf courses in Southern California that is located on a magnificent sweep of bluffs with a constant view of the ocean throughout the golf course. There are only a few other courses in San Diego that offer a setting remotely close to the picturesque scenery of the Encinitas Golf Course.

Renovation work at Grand Pacific Palisades (GPP) has been delayed enough that it likely will interfere with or negatively influence PagodaFest attendees’ experience during their hotel stay.

If you are still looking for a place to stay, the Sheraton Carlsbad Resort and Spa would be an excellent option to consider as it is now our official event hotel. You would need to book directly with the hotel or using your preferred travel resource. Unfortunately the block of rooms at our special negotiated rate is fully subscribed, so reservations made at this point would be at the current market rates plus any applicable resort fees, parking and taxes. However don’t delay as room inventory at the Sheraton is limited and rates are subject to change.
